Ern began his ministry in western Canada, and he eventually became the pastor of the largest church in Vancouver, British Columbia. During the 1950’s, Ern was the Bible Teacher for the William Branham Crusades, where crowds often ranged from 50,000 to 100,000 in size.
In the 1960’s and 1970’s, Ern was a well known and loved conference speaker. Nearly 5,000 leaders from all major backgrounds gathered in Kansas City to hear Ern where he brought the famous message, “Thy Kingdom Come.” The congregation pulled off their shoes and worshiped the Lord in response. Many who attended said it was the best message they ever heard.
His teaching reflected the breadth of his study and the depth of his devotion to Christ. He was not merely interested in knowledge; he worked to pass it on to young people whom he affectionately called “Timothys.”
Ern went to be with the Lord on July 9, 1993.
